Account Manager, Commercial Lines

HUB International is hiring an Account Manager, Commercial Lines in Los Angeles, CA (hybrid). What you'll do - Work closely with Producers and other HUB personnel on all aspects of client service, marketing, and renewal, following HUB's best practices and standard procedures. - Provide professional, courteous service to clients, carrier representatives, underwriters, and business partners, meeting or exceeding account retention expectations. - Prepare and implement all transactions, paperwork, and internal processing for assigned accounts. - Understand clients' insurance objectives and analyze and compare insurance plans to determine suitability; make recommendations as the industry changes. - Act as liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve service issues; negotiate with underwriters and carriers; troubleshoot claims and billing issues. - Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities; keep accurate account files and update agency management systems. - Prepare reports, proposals and comparisons for management; manage, organize, and conduct client meetings. What you need - High School Diploma / GED. - 2-5 years of insurance industry experience (brokerage preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Property & Casualty license. - Strong written and verbal communication; proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook and agency management systems; critical thinking; ability to build client relationships and handle multiple priorities accurately. Pay: $30 - $33 per hour.
